Volunteer to See is an innovative business working in the emerging market of voluntourism to create service opportunities for participants of conventions, tourists, and travelers of all ages.

A growing number of Americans participate in community service activities at home and would like to continue to serve while exploring new places. Volunteer to See’s mission is to develop service opportunities for these engaged travelers.  These experiences will inspire people to perform small acts of service during their trips.  In exchange, volunteers can participate in a rewards system as a “thank you” for their service.

How it Works:

For families, couples, friends, and individuals:

Volunteer to See works with local non-profits to create volunteer opportunities that fit any vacation.

Spending the weekend in a new city?  Find opportunities through Volunteer to See to spend Saturday afternoon building homes for the working poor.

Spending a week with the family and need a break?  Sign up with Volunteer to See to spend Wednesday morning helping a local food bank stock its pantries.

For Convention Participants::

Service Projects: Volunteer to See works with non-profits, parks, and local schools to create a service project for your next convention.  Bringing everyone together for an important meeting can be very stressful, so take an opportunity to learn, laugh, and serve through one of our group projects.

Donation Drives: Through our local non-profit affiliates Volunteer to See also hosts donation drives for convention participants.  We set up drop-off locations at your meetings and ask for items the participants can pack with them.  The accountants from Oklahoma can bring socks for the local homeless shelter, while the sales managers from Boston can bring books for school children.

Rewards Program:

With Volunteer to See’s innovative rewards program your efforts for the community do not go unnoticed.  After spending a few hours of your vacation, weekend, trip, or convention at any of our partnering non-profits, volunteers receive rewards to local restaurants, attractions, and businesses that Volunteer to See partners with.  Use these rewards to make your trip all the more special by experiencing the local flavor and culture!
